I’ve never been one to be called an alarmist, but this is a serious matter that all freedom loving Americans must take seriously. I don’t mean to sound like a white supremacist conspiracy nut, but Zionism is seriously threatening America here. A group called the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) is attempting to block any protests against the murderous state of Israel. Not only protests, but they are blocking any public discussions of Israel and Israeli policies.
This began with US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan creating new guidelines for combating bullying and discrimination. In the new guidelines is protection for the LGBT community as well as disabled students facing harassment. However a new protected group was has been named in the list of groups to be defended. A new term called “shared ethnic characteristics.”
“Shared ethnic characteristics” is term that is being used to describe criticisms levelled against Israel. Genocide promoting Zionists have twisted a piece of legislation designed to protect abused minorities into a campaign to kill any students’ rights to organize on American campuses concerning Israel’s occupation of Palestine or its murder of Palestinians.
How is this blatant attack on freedom of speech and freedom to criticize government policy being slipped in?
“Title VI of the Civil Rights Act says that colleges and universities that don’t address issues of discrimination can lose their federal funding.”
This is a clear message to education institutions, don’t criticize Israel or you will lose federal funding. This means anything the Zionist Organization of America doesn’t like now counts as discriminatory activism. This gives them and other Zionist organizations the power to control public thought at education institutions. The places where ideas and opinions should be most freely expressed is being killed.
This began when a complaint was filed with the US Office of Civil Rights in 2004. ZOA sent letter was claiming to be speaking for Jewish students at the University of California at Irvine. They claimed that anti-Israeli protest were harming the Jewish students. Jewish students and prominent Jewish students came out publicly and refuted the claims made by ZOA. A pro-Israel group “Anteaters for Israel” and “Jewish Fraternity and Sorority” issued a public statement contradicting the lies of ZOA.
In May of 2008 a magazine called “New Voices”, student leaders from UCI’s Jewish community spoke publically about being ignored, silenced, and even publicly discredited by ZOA and associated activists for speaking the truth of their experience on campus. They even said that ZOA has exaggerated claims of incidents of anti-Semitism.
I don’t need to warn anyone of the dangers of letting the Zionist fascists control our freedom of speech. I urge everyone to combat this unjust censorship and strike down this back door manipulation by ZOA and its leader Mort Klein. America does not belong to the Zionists!
