Once again the utter failure that is capitalism has been exposed in the United States. According to the Working Poor Families Project it is now a matter of fact that one third of working class families cannot meet the basic necessities of human life.

The authors of the report say, “The plight of these families now challenges a fundamental assumption in America, work pays.”

Right now there are more than 10 million families struggling with a low income in the US. This is causing pain an stress to 45 million people including 22 million children. Currently 1 in 3 working class families cannot meet their basic needs.

This right here is the gloriousness of capitalism, despite any garbage spouted by the far-right “libertarians”. This is what a society, a world based on greed and selfishness bring to the human race. Never mind all the childish temper tantrum that is the “virtue” of selfishness. At what point do you finally figure it out? At what point do you come to the simple and obvious conclusion? A world based on greed and selfishness leads to a greedy and selfish world.
