I personally didn’t really care about the death of Bin Laden. I stopped caring about him years ago.
Of course the only reason why the Americans are celebrating is because they are just a bunch of retarded nationalists who like to asskiss everything the media tells them.

As Bin Laden hasn’t mattered for some time, Bin Laden himself is not even in full control of Al-Queda as an organization. Al-Queda itself is massively decentralized and those who brand themselves with this name, are acting independently without the control of a centralized figure such as what Bin Laden has been paraded as. As well Bin Laden was living in wealth guarded by sympathizing ISI forces without any relevance to the situation in Pakistan and Afghanistan. The Taliban have no relation with Osama Bin Laden as the Taliban themselves act independently of Osama Bin Laden and haven’t even had diplomatic relations with Bin Laden since they had broke it off several years ago. What must be understood is that the Taliban were accused of harboring Osama Bin Laden, not taking part in Osama’s series of attacks against the United States. So on this level, Osama’s assassination means utterly nothing when it comes to an end of the war in Afghanistan. However, this potentially gives the United States the ability to now engage in a conflict in Pakistan while they accuse the ISI of ‘protecting’ and ‘harboring’ terrorists within its own jurisdiction.

As those celebrating feel that Bin Laden himself represents an end of the conflict within Afghanistan and they feel a sort of ‘victory’ has been had. Even though, it hasn’t.
