‘We continue our resistance to full revenge. I am in Libya, alive and free’ – Gaddafi’s son

Saif al-Islam the son Mummar Gaddafi has publicly announced his intention to keep fighting for Libya despite his father’s death or the NATO destruction of the country. This claim was made on television on Syria’s Arrai TV Channel.

“We continue our resistance. I am in Libya, I am alive, free and intend to go to the very end and exact revenge… “I say go to hell, you and NATO behind you. This is our country, we live in it, we die in it and we are continuing the struggle… I received a message from tribes in Bani Walid about a general consensus between them to respond to threats from the gangs of rats – the revolutionaries and the NATO alliance.”

Saif al-Islam is the second son of Muammar Gaddafi, he had an important role in the government doing all kids of public relations and diplomatic roles for his father. With a Western education and close link to his father he was one of the most recognized officials and was commonly viewed as the successor to Colonel Gaddafi.

Earlier reports by NATO backed media sources had claimed that Saif al-Islam Gaddafi had either been killed or captured by the NATO mercenaries of the Libyan National Transitional Council. There were several contradicting reports leaving many suspicious of the outrageous claims. Egypt’s Nile TV Channel reported on Thursday, October 20, that he managed to escape Sirte and hide in the desert.

According to a few media sources Saif al-Islam already has support of several tribes who were loyal to his father. They too have vowed revenge against the US and NATO backed forces who have devastated the country. Some experts are saying that this could lead the country into a longer drawn out conflict. One that I would support in order to kick the imperialists out of the country.
