Iran Missile Strikes Daesh HQ with in Eastern Syria

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps announced on Sunday that the medium-range ground-to-ground missiles were launched from Iran’s western provinces of Kermanshah and Kordestan in response to the recent Daesh-claimed terror attacks in Tehran, which killed 18 people and injured 50 more.

The IRGC noted that a large number of terrorists have been killed in the attacks, in which a lot of terrorists’ weapons, ammunition, and equipment were also destroyed.

“The spilling of innocent blood will not go unanswered,” said the IRGC in a statement.

This missile strike by Iran has sent a message to Saudi Arabia that they will not tolerate Daesh being used as a tool to attack them. The strike was clearly in retaliation for the Deash strikes on Iranian parliament and the Mausoleum of the late Founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini. The Daesh attack came only two weeks after Saudi royalty in waiting publicly declared that the war should be taken to the inside of Iran’s borders.

Little doubt can exist in the minds of the Iranian people that Saudi Arabia is responsible for the attack upon their country. This strike by Iran on Daesh is a direct message to the terrorist supporters in Saudi Arabia that Iran will not be frightened by cowardly attacks on innocent blood. Iran will continue to enforce its right to self-determination and to live in peace from Saudi terrorism.
